Create with us!
Are you a creator? An artist? An activist? A writer?
We want to hear from and collaborate with you! We are especially interested in creating new content under the theme of womxn doing it for themselves. You may be an activist through your art or your everyday practice.
That being said, we are open to hearing from people of other disciplines, who explore issues of gender and sexuality, to get in touch with us.
*Disclaimer: Although we are open to discussing a wide range of viewpoints under these issues, we personally support intersectional, decolonial feminism and will under no circumstances tolerate sexism, racism, homophobia, ableism, transphobia or classism.
How you can collaborate with us:
Kandaka aims to redefine how we understand activism and subvert common notions of not being “enough of an activist” (no, you do not need to attend weekly protests). We are looking for primarily womxn of colour for our new podcast as well as written posts that can come in form of art, essays, poetry, or fiction. If you can offer new perspectives, especially ones that you may feel have not been represented on the blog, please fill out the following form:
This should include a short introduction of your work. Feel free to also send us an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org if you want to submit photos, illustrations or any other kind of data.
If you would like to feature in our written section please send us your text/art with accompanying pictures of you or of something related to your chosen topic as well as a song that our readers can listen to whilst viewing your work! If you have an alternative structure to this one please do not hesitate to tell us your idea, we are very open to suggestions. Do you want to be featured on our podcast? Let us know who you are and what work you do. We look forward to hearing from you!
